Titmice, Etc.

Lousy picture, but a weird place: a Brown Creeper outside my apartment in Tierrasanta, probably fleeing the Cedar Fires!

Mountain Chickadee rather out-of-place in a willow forest in Guajome Regional Park!

A more in-place Mountain Chickadee along Los Huecos road in the Laguna Mountains

This Mountain Chickadee survived an encounter with a car!  (He's still got the bug in his mouth that he was scavenging from the road...)

Young Verdins are entirely gray and can be confused with Bushtits if one is not careful... (Taken along Yaqui Pass Road.)
