Otay Mountain Road
The lush riparian area along Marron Valley Road was heavily damaged, and destroyed the nearby home.

The bend at the 2-mile stop; you can see where small patches of chaparral survived.
After the turn onto Otay Mountain Road; greens are starting to pop up after the rains!
Beyond this point the habitat was pretty much untouched by the Harris Fire, but still recovering from the Otay Fire.
The fire evidently came up this canyon and stopped where the brown meets the green!
